This is an opportunity in which your business is your favorite procession. To not be the best you can be to your business, as embodied in your own finished products, is to blow the tremendous profit opportunity of your home carpentry business. But I suggest that being the best possible by practicing and trying different ways of "just" producing a product that is truly a treasure - something you are no longer proud of - is a really satisfying way of earning significant time or full time income.

The benefits are low, but it will grow your business by word of mouth. You should also take testimonials from your friends and strengthen your brand because positive reviews are the best advertisement. Local galleries are a good way to develop business because they already have regular customers and if your work is good enough, it can generate money quickly. There are many professional carpenters who sell their crafts through furniture stores and galleries.

With some basic computer skills, you can even create your own website for the cost of hosting. There are even some pretty beautiful models that can be used, so just insert text and images. Your website does not work. Stay simple. A home page, a presentation page, a gallery illustrating some of your best work and a contact page are all you really need. Your website needs to be clean and uncluttered for maximum impact on potential customers.

Most people buy things because of how they feel, not because of you or who you are. I know two or three carpenters quite charismatic to attract customers, but I would not be lucky if I depended on it and most of the carpenters I know would be too. Usually, customers do not really care that you faithfully do your bike for work or donate to the food bank each year. Expect to sell and value your own work and expertise can make a lot of progress in this direction.
